FOILS
Proprietary Foil Technology
Our foils work much like an airplane wing: with enough speed, they create lift, raising the boat above the water’s surface. This dramatically reduces drag, allowing the craft to travel at high speed without making waves—and using far less energy than a conventional ferry.
MobyFly’s new proprietary foil design is available for viewing under NDA only. The foils on the MBFY-10 prototype were developed in collaboration with Caponnetto Hueber and STYachts.


Flexible Maneuvering & Docking
Our foils are fully retractable, enabling MobyFly boats to operate in waters as shallow as 60 cm and allowing for flexible maneuvering and docking.
POWERTRAIN & DESIGN
Zero-Emission Power, Intelligent Control
MobyFly boats are powered by a dual-engine system (one on each side) developed by our in-house technical team and paired with an advanced electronic management system. This configuration delivers optimal efficiency from battery to propeller, ensuring maximum performance with minimal energy use.
Charging is seamless and convenient. MobyFly boats are compatible with standard automotive fast-charging stations, including CCS Type II, making it simple to recharge using widely available infrastructure.


High-Performance Design, Precision-Engineered
Working in collaboration with an industrial design team in Italy, our boats are styled to be sleek and beautiful, and optimized for maximum efficiency and stability—using lightweight composites to reduce weight and sculpted hulls to minimize drag and enhance performance.


FLIGHT CONTROL
Advanced Software for Smarter Operations
MobyFly’s foils are equipped with computer-controlled flight systems at the forefront of hydrofoil technology, race-tested in extreme real-world conditions. Our software manages critical systems and controls, including pitch, roll, ride height, obstacle avoidance, automatic departure, and precise docking maneuvers.
The software suite also supports operational data management, day-to-day fleet oversight, predictive maintenance, regular over-the-air performance upgrades, and remote tuning—ensuring operations run at peak performance and maximum cost efficiency.
